Puppies Puppies

We're very busy right now with 3 litters of puppies ranging from 1 to 5wks. Bridget's puppies are full of wags and licks and are getting more playful by the day at 5wks. Rainey's puppies are still very infant like, sleeping and eating. They just got their eyes open and are starting to explore their environment but can't walk yet at 3wks. Camille's puppies are 1wk now and have doubled their size. They eat and sleep and Camille watches them closely. New photos have been posted on the Puppies Page. We have 1 puppy available by Rainey. It's the remaining male puppy after choices have been made. Carmie is still available to a loving retirement home. Thea is expecting a litter and has puppies available for her upcoming litter.

Scammers Using Breeder's Names

Warning: Scammers have posted ads with my name and phone number, but a different email. The ads have been removed from puppyfind.com but please be aware of this new type of scam. They are not only trying to sell dogs they don't own, but are now using reputable breeder's names! Please call breeders to verify information before purchasing. A 'real breeder' will answer questions thoroughly, be knowledgable about their breed, ask you questions about the home you will provide, etc. I do not breed pugs, beagles, or any breed other than Cairn Terriers! Cooper is not for sale. Please call me to verify information before purchasing a puppy.

I received an inquiry about my pug puppy and I was puzzled and told her I only breed Cairn Terriers. She told me where she found "my ad" for a pug puppy. Puppyfind.com had an ad with my name and phone number attached to it. The verbage was a section of verbage from my paid advertising at puppydogweb.com, and there were about 10 puppies listed of different breeds. Pug, beagle, "Crooked Creek Cair" (not finished like they'd copied from somewhere), chi (I've never heard of them), etc. They had stollen Cooper's photo from puppydogweb.com and the rest were all various breeds with the same information. The person inquiring emailed the link and I didn't receive her email. So apparently they had posted their email hoping the customers would email and not realize they weren't talking to me. This really scares me!!!! Puppyfind removed the ads immediately. But be aware of other scammers using breeder's names. It would be a good idea to look at website links and call breeders before purchasing, to verify the validity of the selling party.

2007 Designer Dog Avenue Fashion Show

The Designer Dog Avenue fashion show was a hit, with a crowd of over 50. The dogs showed off a range of masculine and feminine styles in apparel, collars & leads, jewelry, ID tags, and carriers. Maisie & Bentley were 2 of the models, in addition to a Doberman, Shih tzu's, and Shih tzu mixes. It was a lot of fun and celebrated the grand opening of our small Designer Dog Avenue store, located in Effingham, IL at Dogs by Design grooming, boarding, and training facility. Bentley & Maisie got several compliments and questions about the Cairn Terrier breed. I was proud of them, as well as all the dogs and human models for doing a great job.
